分裂的概念 and Freedom of Expression

This notice is intended to comply with the Tennessee Higher Education Freedom of Expression and Transparency Act (the “Act”) and to reflect the Board of Regents’ and institutional commitment to freedom of speech and academic freedom.

I.     定义

II.     Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Expression, and Academic Freedom

  1. Nothing in this notice or the Act shall be interpreted to:
  2. Infringe on freedom of speech protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, 田纳西宪法, or the Tennessee Campus Free Speech Protection Act, 正如在 言论和表达自由.03.02.60 |政策.为.edu;

    a. Violate any federal or state law, rule, or regulation; or

  6. Prohibit an institution from promoting diversity, 股本, 和包容, provided that those efforts are consistent with State law.

IV.     Investigation and Resolution of Complaints
